Youth Development

Helping young people see and reach possibility

When children have defined pathways to success, neighborhoods thrive. We partner with local organizations to expand access to quality education and youth development programming.

Crossover Kids

Crossover Kids, an initiative of Crossover Community Impact, is a faith-based program committed to restoring the Hawthorne community through after-school and summer programming for elementary school students. Crossover provides programming surrounding faith-based studies, entrepreneurship, STEM, art, nutrition, gardening, and fitness. Programming is available for students in kindergarten through 5th grade.

Crossover StreetLeaders

Crossover Community Impact also offers programming for young adults, providing teens from the North Tulsa community with real world job experience through its StreetLeaders program. StreetLeaders work as part-time employees in the Crossover Kids After School Program and Summer Day Camp to work as tutors and mentors for our elementary-age students.

Educare

Tulsa Educare offers high-quality early education, supports parenting and partners closely with local child care providers to broaden the impact of high-quality early learning beyond the school walls. Educare’s proven model for education delivers high-quality, holistic and year-round early childhood education for children starting at six weeks of age. North Tulsa’s Educare center, located adjacent to Hawthorne Elementary, opened in 2010 and serves 164 children each year.
