Rebuilding Neighborhood Stability

Quality housing is the first step to building a vibrant, thriving neighborhood. As part of ongoing revitalization efforts in the Hawthorne and Whitman neighborhoods, we partner with local organizations and developers to increase access to diverse, quality housing options that increase housing choices and expand healthy living environments.Using our deep understanding of North Tulsa’s challenges and our close relationships with organizations and community members, our team works closely with North Tulsa residents to foster strong and meaningful connections with the community. 

City Lights Village

City Lights Village is a 23-acre master-planned community dedicated to empowering vulnerable Tulsans experiencing housing insecurity. The neighborhood, located near 46th Street North and Peoria, will provide affordable, permanent housing paired with comprehensive supportive services to foster stability, dignity and hope.

Flat Rock Ridge

Flat Rock Ridge is a residential neighborhood of single-family homes at the northeast corner of 36th Street North and Peoria Avenue, developed by Capital Homes. Flat Rock Ridge will provide pathways to home ownership across a range of income levels in an area that has experienced historic and systemic disinvestment.

Wilshire Trails

Wilshire Trails is a 30-home neighborhood development located just off East 33rd Street North and Peoria in Tulsa, located in the growing Phoenix District. A project of Green Country Habitat for Humanity, Wilshire Trails offers residents close access to public transportation and is conveniently located near Educare, Crossover Community Center, Tisdale OU Medical Clinic and the Peoria Mohawk Industrial Park.

The Phoenix at 36N

is a $190 million multi-year investment to transform the 36th Street North corridor into a mixed-use, mixed-income community for north Tulsans. A Tulsa Housing Authority property, The Phoenix at 36N aims to highlight, enhance and improve economic opportunity and prosperity within north Tulsa.

Tulsa Housing Authority

Tulsa Housing Authority seeks to empower Tulsa’s most vulnerable to achieve self-sufficiency through the provision of safe, affordable, decent housing in tandem with supportive services. THA provides publicly-assisted housing comprised of traditional public housing, mixed-finance sites and housing vouchers. Currently, THA provides assistance to more than 13,000 Tulsans.
