Parks & Trails

Chamberlain Park Improvements

Chamberlain Park is undergoing a major transformation, highlighted by a new community pool and bathhouse. As part of a larger, multi-year improvement plan, the 13-acre park will also feature a new 20,000-square-foot recreation center, new playgrounds, a walking trail, and a covered basketball court.

Berry Park Improvements

Berry Park is undergoing a 13 acre redesign to create a welcoming, flexible landscape for everyday use and community gatherings. The park will feature playgrounds for young children, splash pads, basketball courts, covered picnic areas, and shaded seating.

Neighborhoods thrive when they have safe, comfortable, and accessible public spaces and infrastructure. Hawthorne Park represents a unique opportunity to expand recreation and park amenities in the 36th St N neighborhood to encourage social gathering, and more active healthy lifestyles. By improving Hawthorne Park, the surrounding trail system, and the neighborhood’s current pedestrian infrastructure, neighbors of all ages can walk to more destinations and have more natural spaces for meeting and gathering.

Flat Rock Creek Trails (Bike Club)

Flat Rock Creek Park, located at 1501 E 36th St N in Tulsa, is a serene, developing outdoor area featuring nature trails, a fishing pond, and future plans for enhanced biking and walking paths. Part of the "Improve Our Tulsa" initiative, it aims to connect scenic, natural spaces for community use.

Community Centers

The Cherokee Nation Community Center features a full kitchen that operates as an Elder Nutrition site five days a week, along with meeting spaces, community rooms, and future outdoor amenities including a micro-park, outdoor pavilion, and restrooms. The center hosts monthly meetings, serves meals, provides fellowship opportunities, and serves as a hub for Cherokee citizens in the greater Tulsa area.

The Crossover Community Center is home to Crossover Prep Academy, nurturing young minds from 6th to 12th grade as they grow into leaders of tomorrow. Beyond the classrooms, the center offers a space for health and wellness through the Crossover Sports & Fitness gym, fitness rooms, and state-of-the-art workout facilities, welcoming members of all ages and backgrounds. Acting as a meeting space for faith groups, adult learning courses, and sports leagues, the Crossover Community Center is a space for all community members to gather.
